The modified texture food (MTF)
is especially designed for
those patients that, due to mastication and/or deglutition problems, can’t eat in a normal way. The mastication or deglutition problem is very common in elderly people and it can entail serious consequences: dehydration, malnutrition and risk of aspiration.
