VEGENAT S.A. an innovative and competitive company

VEGENAT S.A. is, in the sector of Clinical Nutrition, an innovative and competitive company that leads the Modified Texture Food market and since 2004 VEGENAT S.A. responded to the challenge of designing, developing and marketing products ready to take (RTT) with its T-DIET range; looking for the success in this sector, fulfilling the new demands of the market, and continually improving its most traditional ranges that are focused on dysphagia and swallowing problems with products like VEGENAT-med. This permanent intention of improving and innovating has been recognized on numerous occasions, in such a way that in 2004 VEGENAT S.A. was awarded "Best Spanish Nutrition Company in the Technological Investment category" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Nutrition.
 

R+D+i

VEGENAT S.A. achieves its business successes thanks to an ambitious Research & Development (R&D) project, based on not only our experiences but also our partnership with Spanish Universities and both national Technological Centers and European ones.
 

International patents

During the last years our work has been focused on designing and obtaining profiles of macronutrients whose quality and effectiveness have been probed when they are added to this type of formulations. So we have already obtained three international patents: our proteic, lipidic and carbohydrate mixture. In this way, all our T-DIET Plus range products come on the market protected by these patents. So far the combination of these profiles has permitted us to obtain two more patents that are referred to our standard and diabetic formula.
 

Last developments

Our last development, which has been recently produced and marketed, has been the enteral specific basis of dietetic treatment of patients suffering of type II diabetes mellitus or hyperglycemia. It is a complete diet that incorporates patented profiles as for fat and protein with a careful selection of carbohydrates (protected by patent) that causes a low postprandial glycemic response, it has been proved by clinical studies on human beings. From this diet, we have been working on the development of other suitable formulations for the nutritional basis specializing in malnutrition related to other pathologies.
